I really wondered how it feels to hold and work with a canonet. So
I borrowed a friend's canonet, and i think it's really great. I shot these with neopan 400, manual settings. Now...I'm thinking of gettin one!

Thanks for your photos, Khairi. It has really received lot of recognition for it's quality. A black body Canonet would be even more charming! Think about it! :D

There are currently two black Canonets on ebay saw them the other day. I'm waiting some what impatiently for my Black on to arrive. It was mailed from California headed to Oregon yesterday think it's to early to stand by the mail box??????

Hey Mark, who was the seller - Stephen Gandy? There aren't many of the black ones around and remember that he had one for sale awhile ago. Enjoy it, esp the cachet that goes with all-black.

Patience is a virtue  My black one was also posted over there but I have got to wait until it gets this side of the Atlantic. It is definately too early to wait by the mailbox!

My Black one has arrived it's very nice except for one small dent to the rear of the winder. I think it can be smoothed out during the CLA I am going to have done. The lens does have some marks on the front element which while a bit of a pain I have a couple of other Canonets with perfect lenses so I will just have a better one swapped in.

i'd love to have a black Canonet - but there's no way i'd every pay over $300 like the one that just sold on eBay.

nice pics posted above - good tone and quality.
