after reading this and all other ravings about the electro...
have been fiddling with the innards of a electro 35 - soldered a loose connection, and voila the battery check comes on but the meter lights are still intermittent.
so where do I go from here?

am going to do the light seals on the MG1 next soon as the kit arrives....

I forgot to add that after reading the yashica sites, I was all geared up to meet and conquer this famous pad of death.... but voila there it was sitting there perfectly whole and intact!! I couldn't believe it and poked at it in disbelief for some seconds.

I've checked everywhere but cannot find where the lens contacts being talked about are. any URL?

Thanks a million. am just dying to get the electro working. the MG's puny lens just dosent feel as satisfying.
