Upon suggestion of one of our members, Samuelphoto, I thought it might be interesting to see if anyone would be interested in a get-together in Atlanta in the Spring? Suggestions would be welcome!
***Note: Since interest is gaining momentum, we have decided to make this a REGIONAL meet, not just a local event. So, anyone interested in this event is invited to attend and participate!
Disclaimer: This event is not affiliated with the Rangefinderforum in any way. It is an independent gathering of photographers to meet other photographers and share the experience.

The HCB exhibition is linked here... http://www.high.org/main.taf?p=3,2,1,21,1
for the out of town folks might be a neat idea to have our meet around the same time frame.

I enjoyed my one brief visit to Atlanta. I liked the city a lot, very accessable and comfortable for a first time visitor.

Now THAT is a good suggestion!
Had not heard it was coming to town!
How about adding to this for shooting around town/lunch/date?

We could do that..... weekend hours at the high are a bit funky so we would need to really think on the whole thing
Sat hours 1-5 SUn 12-5. Maybe meet mid/late AM to shoot then lunch in midtown then HCB?

Altcruiser: Linking the meet-up with the HCB show at the High sounds like a fine idea. Perhaps we could shoot for late March or early April before it gets too hot to enjoy wandering the streets a bit.

Sounds pretty good! There are so many possibilities for shooting/lunch ranging from funky (Little Five Points) to whatever!

Maybe I can manage to join you. It's a 4.5 hour drive from Pensacola to Atlanta.

If the meeting will be on a Saturday, maybe Robin can join me.

I would be interested in coming up from Macon for that!

We should meet at some location that can easily be found by people who are not familiar with Atlanta neighborhoods.

Ah, yes...I will work on the meeting location details and post a basic itinerary after we have given a few days for interested parties to discuss it.
I think Saturday makes the most sense and we will need to work around the pollen season, any preferences ie-before, during or after?
This is going to be really fun!

Maybe we can make this a regional RFF meeting due to the strategic location of Atlanta.
Car pooling makes lots of sense too. You can share gas cost.
