Hey Atlanta area folks--even including "yankees"---:) :)
Maybe we should have a "pre-meeting" meeting in sort of a central location to scope out things and maybe just have a beer--or coffee or two.
Where is everyone located--approx?
I am in Suwanee--but rumor has it that there are paved roads leading out from here...:)
What do you think? somewhere near the High?
The Varsity? Stone Mountain? Showcae Camera? Wings???

Robin {BikerRobin} told me today that he is very interested in attending this meeting, depending on the exact date.

April is a fantastic time in Georgia with the Masters, Atlanta Dogwood Festival, Georgia Renaissance, Botanical Gardens, etc.

Just checked the calendar and the Dogwood Festival is right around the corner on April 15, 16, and 17.... not sure if that would be a problem with getting around but if we get our reservations early then it would be an opportunity to out-of-towners to visit either on Friday or Sunday. I will work on lodging recommendations and such.

So, how about Saturday, April 16? Rain or shine?

So it will be just after "Tax Day"?

I would love to meet. I am in East atlanta and I am open to about anywhere you guys think is good. The sooner the better!

Good diner right down from showcase

I'm in Jonesboro, and depending upon where and when I would enjoy meeting you folks. Preferably somewhere near a Marta stop, as I avoid driving and parking downtown whenever possible. GF

Ha, ha...what better way to celebrate?;)

After consulting my crystal ball, it appears that April 16th has the least number of conflicts and maximum number of interesting things happening with the lowest risk of rain....:D. So, yeah, unless there are any objections or better ideas, let's run with it and confirm it no later than this Sunday. We need to order our ticket!:)

So it looks like we would like to invite everyone over to the house for a BBQ/dinner after we go to the museum and go to shoot for a while. We are almost in downtown atlanta and right off of both I-20 and 75/85.

Let me knwo as we got close how many will wnat to come and any food requirements you migth have.

I was stationed at NAS Atlanta near Smyrna/Marietta back in the mid 80's. I might be able to make a day trip or stay a night. Wouldn't be but a 5 hr drive for me. (as long as I85 stays clear through Greenville):D The HCB exhibit would be great. Love to meet you all.
