I didn't realize you had taken this shot. Since you don't develop your own yet what were you shooting? Looks like you and your old Soligar meter got the exposure right, especially considering how bright it was outside. John

Thanks, John... the M3 + Tri-X + Soligor meter works just fine!;)

On second thought, I don't remember using the meter but may have. Either way, I concentrated on the darker area where we were sitting. If I did not use the meter, I would have just set the exposure at 1/250th and f5.6. Worked out nicely on the neg with the local lab developing. This particular scan was not bad either.

If we can, we will talk about making a flyer for the others coming in on April 16th.

With that, I will move further discussion on the monthly meetings to the other thread.:)

I'm planning on coming from Miami. I'll have to buy an air ticket eventually, so please keep me in the loop. Is someone keeping an email list, in case one or more of us misses something on the forum? I'll send my email address to whomever is keeping a list.

And yes, I am keeping a running list of contacts and I urge all who have signed up to PM me so I can keep the list current.

Also, please copy the list and make a new post with your name on the sign up list.

Paul,

The main reason for the meeting in a couple of weeks will be to set the itinerary and meeting locations. I will post it before March 1.

We plan to make the day as flexible as possible with some people coming in early and others later. So, expect there to be several rendezvous locations throughout the day. This will facilitate individual schedules and car-pooling.

The one fixed time and location is the HCB exhibit at 1:00pm, so everyone needs to go online and purchase their tickets as soon as possible.:):):)
 
Oops:bang:...too much stress around here. The 6 in the date threw me off.

Yes, there is the other thread on that meeting and we are meeting at high noon on February 26th, 2011 at Manuel's Tavern. Got a bunch of folks signed up.

Let me know if I can facilitate anything for you, Paul, as I know you have been uder a lot lately and if we can make things easier, let us know.:):):)
