Georgia 2011 RFF Meet-Atlanta

It was great meeting everyone. I can't thank Dave and his wife Lori enough for their hospitality. Also thanks to Paul and Andrew for carting us around. I had a great time.

thanks to all for a wonderful time ... :)
just finished running a roll whose last few frames were shot at the festival. if out-patient surgery goes well in the morning, i might can get 'em scanned and up tomorrow night ...

This looks like a great get-together! I missed it, but I will plan to make up a trip to Atlanta.

Enjoyed meeting all the RFF'ers, along with the gear talk, photo shooting and camaraderie it was a very enjoyable experience, hope to do it again soon.
Special thanks to Dave and Lori for the fantastic hospitality and great food.
Hope to have some photos to post soon...

Yes, a great time indeed. And there's Steve with the sneaky TLR shots. Excellent job! I had a great time hanging out with everyone and will be looking forward to the next one.

I still have some shots left on the roll in the GSN, but I ought to develop the roll from the ETRSi soon. The trick will be finding a way to get them scanned. I may have to finally break down and buy one.

Wow!! Great shots everyone!
I commented on Tom's photos--but I think the post must have fallen in the bit bucket...
Tom--I really like your first photo--I must look up more often when I am in town..
And it WAS a great time!

On a recent RFF outing to Atlanta, Georgia I noticed something a bit odd.
While all the people were completely normal or as close as you can get, the Architecture was vastly different than all other earthly city’s I have visited. I don’t think anyone else noticed this; it reminded me of the “Old World Martian Structures” I so fondly miss.

I noticed this ... that's why I pointed my camera up for the first two shots I posted and a couple of others. I've been to Atlanta many times before but wasn't in some of the downtown areas where one can see the high-rise architecture so clearly.

BTW .. I realized that I linked in-line pictures to my web site - allometric.com - in a way that if I update the site, the links may go to non-existent files. I'll keep the allometric.com site up-to-date - just go there and look for 2011 pictures. (This site is a jumble of mostly my photos, but also an occasional pict from family members.)

Thanks for the comment,
