Here we are, this is the last photo from that marvellous roadtrip. It was the last available hpoto which got stuck between the rollers exiting the camera. I think it was a lucky accident, not so bad as last photo.
Note: when I shoot Polaroid I?m not looking for photographic perfection, I do not think too much, oft I do not think at all, I just feel an emotion and shoot. The imperfections, the mistakes, the incertainty are the food for my creative process. I wish you all look at the photos in this thread with similar eyes.
I wanted to post this last photo a few days before meeting Raid and his beautiful family again to continue with a new adventure as we were planning but life is going in a different direction...
Thanks Raid, Rasha, Lina and Dana for your company during these beautilul 21 days

G'Morning Robert!
A true pleasure it is to return to this thread once more and see the photos you've posted since December! and the close of the trip! Wonderful stuff again and again..
It reinforces my feeling to never discard a Polaroid image, even if it at first looks like a failure. These little exposures are like jewels that gain expression with time.
In this new world of The Coronavirus Plague and lock in and all the other issues of the crisis, it is good to return to the world through our photos and seek the beauty that is our world and each other. It's one of the things I'll focus on as this crisis is battled, to lift spirits and keep motivation to solve the problems, and survive, first and foremost in our consciousness.
Be well, my friend.

I stand at the corner of the memorial to the Japanese American people who suffered
a previous horror from the last century, a dedication to their pain and their strength
that I do not want to forget.

In this fateful hour,
All Heaven with its power,
The sun with its brightness,
The snow with its whiteness,
The fire with all the strength it hath,
The lightning with its rapid wrath,
The winds with their swiftness,
The sea with its deepness,
The rocks with their steepness,
The Earth with its starkness,
All these I place
Between myself and the powers of darkness.

Nice thoughts Godfrey, I'm stuck at home too. And in the high risk group. So my latest Polaroid is from my back yard:

It was our pleasure to be traveling with you and Simo, Robert. Each day of that 3-week long road trip was very special, and we saw many different places.
Hopefully, we will meet again and travel together!

Cameras. I has it.
... Later I showed it to my drawing teacher and he liked very much because resembles in a certain way a simple charcoal sketch.
...
That's what I like about it - the form is what's emphasized. Very good photo.

You are correct! The undeveloped region seems to say "The End".

That is exactly how I approach the new "Polaroid" film.
With the real Polaroid film that disappeared about 15 years ago, I did expect to get technically good results, although I always considered the limitations of Polaroid photography as part of its character and a challenge.
Thank you again for your wonderful photos in this series.
