Okay, this is rude...

I love my slides from my 21/2.8 of the grand canyon. I just recieved the slides back from Fuji... and they came out stunning. Finally something that jsut shows how trully wide and sharp that lens really is.

Now... my slide scanner is packed, when I can, I will unpack it and do a scan and then post.

Kyocera/Contax, a G. I have the Biogon 21mm F/2.8. Great lens.

The 21mm Biogon is one of the really great lenses of all times. That's the area where the retrofucus design limitations of an SLR really impact optical quality.

I also know the 50mm for the Mamiya 7 (6x7) rangefinder is an incredible lens and I hear the 43mm is as good. It's a similar optical forumlation.

I've a shot or two with the 43- it was my favorite lens... Until I balanced the books, figured out that by simply shooting 6x9 with the Mamiya Universal with the 50mm was as wide (and ever so slightly cheaper) and sold 'em off.

I really like the look of the Zeiss or Zeiss spawned wides.
