Just love this image Helen,it captures everything about your great city, and adds to my growing list of must have lens.

Very Kind of YOU Chris ...Thanks much !!

I tend to have a Love/Hate relationship with the 21 SA

as Tom Abrahamson has stated somewhere here on RFf
the 21 SA is a big Drama Queen...& that she is !!

sometimes I can easily visualize and know what to Expect
Other times i can be completely surprised
For me the SA gives me great highs & lows

I think everyone should give it a go once in Life ...😉
Best to YOU - H

more with the "Drama Queen" lense

This is just excellent and more IMO, just because the frame is filled with many perspectives and a dramatic foreground, this is what I like so much in photos shot with a 21 (instead of empty shots with few things too far away), warmest congrats, this one deserves a large format print no doubt !!!

Some great stuff in here, I just picked up a 21 f/3.4 SA to go with my M4. Here are some shots from the first few rolls yesterday. Tri-X developed in D-76.

Love the lens, might take a little more time to get used to such a wide focal length but it's just what I was after.

Thanks JSU, I shot a roll on my newly aquired & fixed M2 but they were only some daytime test shots, but I like what I saw of the one's I didn't screw up.

This was handheld 1/15@1600...I just don't have the confidence for low light and night shots with film yet, but I'll have to be a big boy and just get out and do it... 😱
