Below links to a few sample images taken with the CV 21/4P, if you're interested (the vignetting was added in PP - the lens doesn't show much, particularly if you code it).
This lens is incredibly sharp and unobtrusive - and great value for money.

I am very much a Carl Zeiss fan. I love these Biogons, and so on.
But the new Leica Summilux 21 mm 1,4 Asph is a very special animal. It possibly is the sharpest/most contrast rich lens of this focal length - and speed. That says a lot at this very competetive focal lenght. No wonder it is expensive.
I was in Copenhagen on a business trip yesterday and went for a walk (By the way: Have you seen that the British and American foreign offices have issued a warning to their tourists due to the gang fight that is going on in Copenhagen these days? Well, undeterred and not afraid at all, I rode into town and went to my favourite restaurant; Herzegovina, right across the street from the main railway station, at the Tivoli wall. Here they have live gipsy music and Yugoslavian food; very underrated. A mix between Italian, Greek and certain East European flavours. Like the gulash soup. Holy Moses! I had to unbutton my bullet proof west).
In the sales windows of the largest Leica dealer in Copenhagen was several 2.hand WATE's for sale. I guess they are trade-ins for the new Leica 21 mm.

Olsen, those hand weights were probably 14 karat gold. And am I reading this right?....the Travel Biogon bested by the 21 Summilux?

Olsen, those hand weights were probably 14 karat gold. You mean to say the 21mm Summilux has bested the Travel Biogon?
