28mm on R2a

I have recently acquired a R2a, mostly to use with a 35mm Summicron, but I also have a 28/1.9 Ultron which I'd like to use.

I read on Cameraquest a suggestion to the effect that using the entire vf area of the R2a as a frame is approximately correct for 28mm lenses.

Anyone got experience to confirm or deny this?

It's close enough. Althought I can only speak for a Bessa R that I used to own. I used the whole VF for the 28 mm FOV and had no major surprises. Wearing glasses, though, I did find the procedure of having to move my eye around the VF somewhat cumbersome...
