i was hoping our group was a little lighthearted, and that quote might bring a chuckle or two.
What makes you think I took it so seriously? I love my dead shark!

I will add to that - what exactly is wrong with the xp1?
3 more Fuji X cameras coming...
Ill try to answer you both: nothing. looks like I will continue using and being happy happy with what I have.
For now, only rumors coming.
Huh? ... ...

For me, an X100s with a 70mm pancake- 105 equivalent, fast focusing, leaf shutter- the perfect portrait camera!
I'm not Fuji insider. The two links you provided doesn't seems to be either. Forgive me if I'm wrong.
That site gets things right often... plus, this thread is 2 months old and one of the three cameras has been leaked. I just didn't see the point of your comments... we deal with rumors here a lot. If you don't like that, don't come into the thread.
With my limited English I was expecting something like pre-production review from dpreview.

There is a difference in handling between a zoom lens and a tri-elmar type of (well, zoom) lens. The difference is not exactly the same as click stops vs. no click stops for aperture, but that gives the idea. Fuji does not seem particularly interested or invested in video with their X series cameras, and a click-stop zoom would therefore make more sense than for most manufacturers.Fuji kind of does "cover" the range with the new XC 16-50 zoom lens
My one and only gripe is that OVF support for legacy lenses is a cruel joke. After all the fuji generated hype about m lens compatibility, their adapter focuses past infinity, hence no zone focusing, there is no frame line support after 60mm, the camera pretends it has no clue what focal length your lens is and defaults to 1/30 in auto iso - aperture priority mode. The frame lines are dim yet magically brighten with a fuji lens.

Perhaps now that they have a few more of their own lenses out they will feel less threatened and do better in the xp2. End rant.
