3 pics new feature?

Is this 3 pics maximum in a thread reply a new feature or a bug? 😡
This way it becomes almost impossible to present any comparisons.

Even for premium members, this seems not OK to me. For a non-paying member or a guest I could understand this move.

Or am I wrong here?

Its 3 pics for everyon. Its a bandwidth thing. However you can do another reply and add 3 more if you like.

Actually, I can live with this - just gotta string a whole bunch of replies to self as someone else here does all the time! 😀

I can understand the bandwith thing, but would it not be better just to limit the pic size to - well - something like 400k? Or 300k if that fits better?
In any case it is better to inform a poster about the max. number or max. size of attachments. Communication is the key. In everything I guess.
If this 3 pics is the case, so be it. But is there also a max. size?

I would opt for more but smaller pics as link to larger sized pics in a gallery.
