I recently got a 35 2.5 SC Skopar. Very impressed with this lens. Great sharpness, colors, and good bokeh. Seems like it has high contrast but this is also on ISO 400 film. Haven't yet developed my roll of APX 100 to see how it looks on bw but I am sure it will be great.
Here are a few recent shots with this lens on a Bessa R2C.

Plenty of sharpness there.

it’s a pearl, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the black and whites

I have the 28 f3.5 Color Skopar and it has the same characteristics as yours above. It can be a bit too much contrast if you use red/orange filters with C-41 b&w film. Love the lens, though.

I’ve had good results using a blue filter in high contract situations

Thanks the info. Yes, next on the list is a set of 43mm thread filters.

The manual does say 43mm, I guess the SC Skopar (for Contax/Nikon S mount) is slightly different from the LTM version...

You’re correct, I should have checked, sorry, it’s the ltm version that’s 39

I've processed my test roll. The prints are much better than the scans. The Epson 4490 is crappy for colour negatives; so I scanned the prints, but it's not that good this way either.
Anyway, the lens performs incredibly well. I'm really impressed. Now I have to try a roll of TriX.
Leica III, Skopar Classic and Portra 400 VC.
PS: Kully, nope, it's only a fake Luigi strap I got from evilBay for $25

Hey Marc,
i saw your newest set and it looks gorgeous! The CV 35/2.5 is the next lens i'd like to buy (besides a short tele for portraits) and your test shots (btw, i really like the second one) are just confirming the good things I know about it. Hope you will enjoy it.
