Canon LTM 35/2.8 on ebay

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
I'm no Joe :) But I have the later black & chrome version of that lens. Very well made, TINY, pretty flare resistant with its recessed front element (you can do well without lens hood). Optically, sharp and low contrast. Gives an interesting rendering to objects in the oof background (I like to call it vintage quality). The low contrast helps working with the image in PS or darkroom so you can adjust it more easily to your likings without fear of boosting contrast too much.

what oscar said.

i very much like this lens and will be using it alongside the 35/2, now that i have my second p body back.

Hi Joe, Canonman!
Do you know about the earlier Serenar 35/2,8? sharpness and contrast similar to the later Canon ones?
thanks, Rob.

mine is an 'older' one and it's great.

from reading, it seems often the only difference was the nameplate on the front of the lens.
i would live this lens, it looks to be in great shape and has the finder.
if not needed by you the finder can be sold later and help with the cost of the lens.

Thanks Joe,
just what I wanted to hear. I already have a Canon 35 and 85mm finder for my Bessa T. Universal and 135 coming up. Then making the choice which to keep.

Rob.
