35mm 3.5 Leica with goggles

I would like to get a bessa and use this lens, I get impression this wont work...is there a work around....any thoughts would be appreciated...

Hi there Mark, thanks for your reply, I actually have an M3, with vl little meter on it, but the no light meter through the range finder kills me....hence desire for a bessa...also loading film...
 
You need the goggles in order to focus the lens on a Leica rangefinder. The goggles won't work on a Bessa. To use the lens on a Bessa, remove the goggles (if possible) and zone focus using the DOF scale. This amounts to intelligent guesswork. It's not as hard as it sounds and can be an asset in street photography.

Scale focusing with a 35 is a snap. It's still wide enough to have a decent ZOF. 🙂
