35mm f1.4 Nokton and 35mm f1.7 Ultron

I haven't used the Nokton, but the Ultron is a great companion for an M2, and worked well with a Canon 7 too:

In weighing the pros and cons of the two lenses, I recommend looking at the photos of RFF member Tuna (in the Gallery), who has used the Ultron almost exclusively for a couple of years; and for the 35 Nokton, I recommend looking at the photos of RFF member Matt (1pt4), who has a really nice set of shots w/ this lens on his website: http://www.1point4photography.com/blog/?s=CV+35+1.4+SC

Thanks for the replies... while deciding between the Nokton and the Ultron I bought a Jupiter 11 and then the oportunity to buy a Canon 35mm f1.8 in RFF classifieds arose, now I'm waiting for the mail!

Thanks again and bests

I've had Ultron for about a year and I love it. The price-quality ratio is awesome. I also had the Nokton for a while, but sold it to a friend because of a nice deal on a black M4.

I kind-of miss the focus tab and compactness and the close-focus makes me think about it too, even though I havent had problems with Ultrons 0,9m. I'm very happy with the Ultron so whatever I guess. It's not that big anyway and sharpness and bokeh are fine. Don't know if I should think about Summicron, maybe I'll just go with this. Got my new black Ultron with less than 200 euros!
