35mm Films - What do you like it?

All time favorite: Neopan 400;
second-most used film: TMax P3200
I also use(d) Fomapan 100, Efke 100, APX100, FP4+, TriX, HP5+, Neopan 1600.

B/W: FP4 always seems to come out fine, it really is quite forgiving. For faster stuff I prefer Delta 400 and sometime BW400CN as its easy to process, although I am still not 100%.

I have decided to standardise on Slide for Colour though, as print print (400 asa) always looks rather dead on my slr, when I use it after forgetting its always a bit more vivid on the Kiev or Canonet. In addition to that w.r.t image qualty for landscapes I have decided to go the whole hog and do slide stuff on a Yashica-MAT.

Depending on the look I'm after HP5+ and Tri-X. You can use and abuse both of them and still get cracking results!

Ilford Pan F if I want to use really slow stuff 😉

I shoot whatever I can scavenge, as we don't have a reliable supply of non-consumer films here. Fomapan, Tri-X, Svema, T-Max, FoMos (ever heard of it?).

If I was to choose one, I'd probably stick with Tri-X. Love the look, and it is a very forgiving film.

A bit simpler with color negs.. Kodak ProFoto 100 is my preference. Pretty cheap, comes at $2 a roll here. Natural saturation, renders skin tones beautifully. The only drawback is that its latitude isn't too wide.

Didn't shoot much slide yet, just some Ekta 100 VS in 120. This one has plenty of saturation (VS = Very Saturated IIRC), looks good to me.
