On the lookout for a 35mm for a Canon P. Prefer a lens with character and sub £300.
Canon and Voigtlander are obviously options. The black Jupiter 12 may (?!) fit. How about the Leica Elmar and Summaron ? Anything else ?

probably best value for money is old ltm ultron 35 f1.7... its modern design, well corrected and fast... 35 f1.4 has a lot of barrel distortion and 35 f2.5 is a stop slower...

I reckon you may as well give a Jupiter a go, it's got character and if it doesn't fit, you can just sell it on.

My 35mm choice for my Canon VI-L is to non-destructively adapt a lens from a 24x24 Altissa Altix because I like making life difficult for myself.

The Canon 35mm f2.8 is a nice lens and comes in two different styles in LTM, I like the old style ones myself. Equally good is the Nikkor 3.5cm f2.5 in LTM, some say it is a legendary lens but I found it is not too different than the Canon that I just mentioned in the way it draws.

If you are able to find a Canon 35mm f/1.8 LTM in your price range, I'd pick that one. For me, it had nicer character than the f/2 and is way better ergonomically than something like a Jupiter-12. Nice and sharp wide open in the center as well. I'd imagine it'll look very good paired with the P.
