35mm options?

Are there any good, cheap options in the 35mm range for my Bessa R? I have a 35/1.7 Ultron right now, but I might be forced to sell it soon due to a need for cash. Are there any quality lenses out there under $100? From what I've read, the Jupiter 12 will NOT fit the Bessa R, correct? If there are no good options, I may just look into some of the slower CV lenses. Thanks.

Kyle a Canon Serenar 35/2.8 was sold the other day at photo.net for $115, with some patience and investigation you can find a good deal on one. The J12 as you say probably won't fit the Bessa (*some* users report success with some samples), and some examples are also very prone to flare.

You could also check for non-usual names, I've seen Komura, Soligor and Schneider ¿?. Then there's also the Cosina 35/2.5 which is an excellent lens and sometimes can be found for a good price.

Edit: Woops, that's it, Steinheil, not Schneider...

Some time ago I used a Steinheil 35mm on Liecas... worked just fine.
Haven't seen one in ages, but it's another name for your list.
