Hi, I mostly shoot 35mm cameras with color and black and white film. I have 2 scanners that fits my budget :

Pakon f135 plus

Primefilm 7200u
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/884296-REG/Pacific_Image_Primefilm_7200U_35Mm_Slide_Film.html

I read that the Pakon scans are 6MP and appropriate for small prints? While the reflecta/primefilm 7200u have higher resolution and also have good reviews around the net but the Pakon scans way faster than it.

I want to ask the actual users of these scanners.
In terms of reliabilty, what is the best?
I shoot 2-3 rolls a month. But definitely I can go higher now because I will buy my own scanner. Please help me to decide. :)

Thank you!

I have the Pakon and I like it a lot, but having a newer, up-to-date scanner along with support is a very good thing. The Pakon also cannot scan E6, so if you shoot slides, you should get the Primefilm.

If you get the Primefilm, you may want to consider getting the XE model, which is the update to the 7200u.

If you want speed, take the Pakon.

If you want versatility and more quality, take the PrimeFilm.

There is no wrong options here.
