originally I have 35mm summaron with goggle, but now I took the goggle out (including M mount). What will happen If I will subsitute M mount with gogle(original) with normal 35mm screw mount to M adapter? Will the focusing be perfectly correct? (when the parallax line up, then it is fucusing at that spot)?

Thank you

Everything will be off. The LTM adapter is not thick enough to focus the lens
at infinity. Even if it would be, the RF throw would be factor 1.4 off (normally
corrected by the goggles).

Sorry,

Roland.

Oh my god! So what will happen with the focus If I put 21mm F4 super angulon with 35mm summaron Goggle? will the focus be mess up too? or this one will be fine?

Thank you

Good question. I tried it with the 21 Color Skopar and it would not focus
at infinity. The goggle "adapter" is thicker than the normal LTM adapter.
As with the 35mm lens, rangefinder throw will be off in any case.

Tom Abrahamson once had 35mm goggles re-machined to put a 21mm lens in it.
He was able to focus at infinity, but didn't correct the RF throw,
I believe. But for 21mm this is not so important because the DOF is so high.
Check with Tom, he is an active forum member.

Best,

Roland.

Hey Matt, before the world ends, do you want to try this ? I have a spare
set of goggles at home, and a 21. Would be cool to use the 21 on the M6
with the 28mm lines ... Just an idea ...

Roland.
