Hi!

I have just bought a Ricoh GR. Great camera, it's the first digital camera that I have used in almost three years. I tried the Fuji X100/X100s but I don't like them. Ricoh gr is perfect, Im using a 28mm viewfinder with the Lcd turned off in snap focus mode.

Now to my question, has anyone used the Ricoh GR in 35mm crop mode with an external 35mm viewfinder? Does it feel ok?
I want to try using the 35mm crop mode some more but I hate using the LCD. I know I can crop after but I rather do it in the camera!

I'm thinking of buying the leica X1 bright line 36mm.

Yes, CV 35 cylinder VF is suitable., and bright. That's what I use. Some older RF finders, like my Nikon 28, allow you to dial in parallax which should be useful for Snap focus framing.
