35SP in Jerusalem

Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Lutheran Church in the Old City, I believe. Very nice indeed. I've never tried a picture in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre from that angle. Good shot with backlighting.

Thanks! The SP is my current travel camera. The lens is great and the camera is very convenient, with the all auto feature but full manual control and spot metering if you want it.

I have found that the SP lens needs to have a hood on for better results. This makes it inconvenient to close the everready case, so I just leave it open for hours. I was worried initially about battery drain, but it did not happen.

Has anybody noticed or measured how long it takes to drain the battery in the SP? People worry a lot because the SP does not have a means of turning off the meter. I wonder if this is a real issue or just a legend.

I don't think this is really an issue. But I haven't used that camera for too long.
Been in the same places last Tuesday. Had a camera+a few rolls in my bag and returned home without even taking one shot. On of these days....

I wonder how it will be in the old city tomorrow night....
