39 MM fliters

Heliopans work as well... (just as good as B+W, I own both)

all righty then.... looks like I will be doing some online shopping [none of my local camera stores seem to speak 39MM] I got one and it threads on ok, it just won't take the lens shade

Hey Dan,

Try americaneagle_com on the 'bay. He has -Bower- 39mm and 40.5 filters for very cheap prices, I use them on my Voigtlander lenses. They do fit with the stock VC hoods, alot of other filters do not :bang: :bang: :bang:

-Dan, just bought two vented hoods (39mm and 43mm) shop his ebay store, and you should find what you need. If not, wait a week, and try again.

Hoya, B+W, Heliopan and Leica are all usually OK, except polarizers. Some filters (such as B+W) use a smaller glass area than others, so there's a metal section about 2mm thick within the thread ring. This may cause a problem with ultra wide lenses.

I find B + W 81B filters work fine, but my B + W polariser does not allow you to fit the hood back on the 90mm or 25mm lenses. Does anyone know of a polariser that will work?

I finally purchased a yellow-green filter for my CV 35/2.5 lens.
B&H didn't have the Hoya, so I ordered the single coated B+W.

Once it arrived I noticed that the package is marked *39 X 0,5*

I phoned B&H to ask if they sent a filter for Leica by mistake;
the person I spoke to said this is the only version they sell.

I am hesitant to open the package because some of the folks
here in RFF tell me that CV lenses use .75 thread filters.

Will this thing fit my CV 35/2.5 lens, or should I return it?

TIA,
Chris
