40 Summicron on M Body

I recently bought a 40'cron and when the focus is set to infinity, the images dont line up, it's misaligned significantly. I was doing research online and found that Leica says there is a compatibility issue when mounted on a M body instead of a CL body. Most people who own this lens and have mounted it on an M body and specifically mentioned that their infinity focus does line up and there are no issues with compatibility they can detect. Is this something I should be worried about? Do other users have this problem as well, but with no ill effects?

Should align perfectly, even on M3.

It's either your camera body (what are you using ?), or (more likely) the lens has been wrongly re-assembled.

All other focus distances line up except for when infinity focus is needed, it seems to stop at around 50-100 ft or so. All the images have no focus issues that I can see. My other lenses work just fine.
