40mm f/1.4 - what's the consensus?

i wonder if this is a case of the bad bokeh we hear about with this lens? this is a crop from my 40/1.4 mc version on and rd1.

Now that the 35mm 1.4 Nokton is out I think any quibbles about bokeh on awkward bright highlights at 1.4 are irrelevant. If you have a camera with 40mm framelines and want the fastest one you can find then this is the only game in town. Those with 35mm framelines now dont have to battle with framing issues.
