This is just a toy for me...likely to be used half a dozen times a year. One film will be adequate.
 
Congratulations. I guess if you're careful and gentle with it you'll be OK. I was the typical 18 year old when I had mine. It did have a great lens, though.

Found a seller with a 90 day guarantee...I figured that was prudent, considering what you and others say about it being delicate.
 
worst feature of 127 is loading the spiral, from much experience with my Purma: in the dark remove film compleately from the backing paper, then load the spiral from the end of the film where it is wound less tightly.🙄
 
yeah, I understand (why do you think I have one?) 🙂

but part of why *I* thought the Lubitel was more fun was that it was as easy to use, was very light weight and gave very good results. The Y44 is much bigger than you think from the film size and it is also very heavy... the lens does have some very nice charm though.
