Hi All,
I've been away from RFF a long time, over a year. Tho' I have an excellent Nikon D90, my most used camera is the versatile G1. So, I'd love to hear from G3 owners... what you like and what the problems are.
Thanks, Mike

My favorite portrait lens for the G1 is my Jupiter 3. When I want more sharpness and contrast wide open, I use a VC 1.5 Nokton.

as to lens question, i have m4/3 ep2 with evf for several years. i have shot contax/zeiss, m42, m39, dkl, P6, c mount, m mount, hexanon etc lenses and i have been very pleased with many combinations. however, to my eye, nothing comes close to the experience and results gotten from the summicron-c 40/2.0. it is so very tiny, making a virtually jacket-pocketable rig, yet so easy to focus with the tiny tab. and the IQ results are nothing short of stunning. whether judged by sharpness, color, contrast or '3d', i have not used or seen a lens that beats it on m4/3. in addition, imo, 80mm is far more flexible a FL than 100, and they say 40mm is what the eye is most comfortable seeing. i think this lens plus the panny 20/1.7 is all an m4/3 camera needs!
