50 1.4 click stops broke!

I was just playing with my lens Canon 50mm 1.4, moving around the aperture ring and all of a sudden, there was a "POP" and the click stops don't work anymore. The blades still move, but no clicks. I can hear something rattling in there when I shake the lens, I assume a spring or something... This lens seems pretty simple, is it possible to fix something like this myself?

AFAIK, aperture stops are managed with a ball bearing and a spring. You might be able to fix it if both of them are there and unbroken.
