Hi all. As I was posting, I got bumped out. So, this is what I can recall from my lost post:
Thanks Stephen for the fast turn-around. Order placed on Saturday and received yesterday!
This morning, I mounted the Nokton 50 and fired off a few shots to finish a roll of chrome from Sunday.
Love the aperture click stops; they feel more pronounced than on the Nokton 40.
The size and weight is neither awkward nor overbearing, and the focusing ring is smooth. The push on lens cap is a welcome change from that on the 40. I've accidentally sent the 40 cap flying across the room.
The black finish is great; no flaws. I'll post pics soon.
If you're on the fence like I was, I say give this lens a try. I hope you will like it as much as I do.

I love mine. Nice bokeh and great shadow details in black and white. This is a real stellar among all CV lens.

When I was on the fence, I was agonizing over the 50/1.5 and the 25/4. Selecting the 25/4 meant an accessory finder for my R3A. I wear glasses. Often, I switch to contacts when taking photos. I chose the 50/1.5 because I can "see" comfortably. I found the 25 a bit overwhelming. Notwithstanding, the 25/4 is on my short list of future lenses.
