50mm C Sonnar : bokeh examples

For those who want to see the sonnar zm bokeh , i took 2 pictures where you can see it

I like the 2nd shot! The bokeh almost looks like it is a moving surface behind the rose! Is your Sonnar a late one or early, or have you had the "dreaded" back focus adjusted on it. I have a very early one and I have not seen any problem with back focus - at least that I can blame the lens for!

Here is a version with photo manipulation

i like the sonnar bokeh very much, very smooth. For the moment i didn't see shift focus problem , but i should run some tests

wow..this looks exactly like my Jupiter-3 bokeh!

I keep thinking how I´d love a Jupiter-3 without flare (or ZM sonnar ;-)

here´s a bokeh shot of the J3, Sensia200 on a rainy day. with more complex BG it looks exactly like yours!
