50mm C Sonnar Problem

I've decided to sell my C Sonnar (I prefer the Planar) but taking a close look I can see some haze has appeared on one of the internal surfaces. I wonder if anyone has seen this before?

Also I wonder if I should sell it like this, pointing out that it has some haze, or else get it fixed first. My thinking is that the purchaser may want to get it re-calibrated for f1.5 (it's optimised for f2.8 at the moment) and so could have both things done at the same time. Apart from the haze problem the lens is in near mint condition.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Get it repaired by Zeiss first.

If the lens is still under warranty, they will fix it for free.

If this is an unusual problem, and the lens is out of warranty, they may still fix the lens for free. (Or very cheaply.)

Unfixed, I suspect the lens will need to be heavily discounted in order to sell.

I wouldn't be concerned with the 2.8/1.5 optimization.

I have not seen it in person, but I know of at least one well known dealer trying to sell a hazy C Sonnar in near mint condition at the moment.

I would try to sell it with haze first. Chances are the buyer wants it for the 'dreamy' look wide open and thus wants it to perform flawlessly at f1.5 and does not mind spending a few Euro on an additional cleaning of the lens.
There might also be someone, who is looking for a compact fast 50 and does not mind a bit of haze (and focus shift (near) wide open) at a low price.
