Dear friends,
I find the above to be quite loose on my lens.
A simple push will move the apertures.
Not sure if its inherent for this model.
Does anyone face this?
If yes, any recommendations on where to fix it?
thanks

Which model?
I have a v3, it has a light but positive action, both before and after it was overhauled.

Mine is fairly loose on my V4 but not enough to worry too much about it!

It seems your lens needs a CLA. Which continent are you on?

What other lenses are you comparing it to? I find (and am not alone) that the aperture rings on some Leica lenses of the latest couple generations seem pretty loose by comparison to the older ones, and to other brands. My 50 Summicron (recently overhauled by DAG BTW) aperture ring is and always was far looser (softer detents, a little wiggle) than the chrome rigid 1950's one. If you can get to check another lens like yours, it might tell the story. Of course if the ring is spinning free with no detents, then for sure it needs work.
