50mm for close-up?

Thinking of trading in/selling my 60mm and 55-200 for the new 50mm? How is the close-up capability on the 50? I'm not a macro photographer but sometimes need a close shot of say hands, for example. I almost never carry the 60, and the 55-200, although I've used it professionally, has been hit and miss.

the XF 50 f2 lens minimum focusing distance is 0.39m or 15"

if you feel the need to get closer, then the XF 60 might be more useful or use extension tubes.
one thing for sure though is that the XF 50 is one sharp lens

from this comparison, bokeh balls of the XF 60 is nicer wide open (f2 and f2.4) but once you step down, bokeh on the XF 50 is much rounder.

Fuji has updated their chart of how the 11mm and 16mm extension tubes affect your working distance and magnification. http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/accessories/pdf/mcex_01.pdf

The 50/2 plus an 11mm extension tube might get you what you want.

Thanks for your responses. At the distances I shoot for close-ups, (more like hands than bugs), the 50mm is very good. I'll add an 11mm extension to my kit if I need more magnification.
