6 bit & Newer ZM Lenses

It seems that Zeiss has updated the screw positions on the mount flange on their recent lenses, so that they do not interfere with the 6-bit coding . (At least this is what is is suggested here: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m8-forum/85881-zeiss-zm-35-f-2-m8.html, please see post number 8)

Does anyone know more about this? Does this apply only to lenses ordered through Zeiss directly? Is there a SN after which this applies?

I just received my 25/2.8 back from Zeiss Germany for mount modification - there's still a screw in the code area, but maybe the mount is from old stock?

did you buy the "new" lenses from Zeiss directly?

Can you provide some photos of the old-vs-new mounts, so that we could recongnize them more easily?

My new Nokton 1.4/35mm has a similar screw layout and grove. Looks as if Cosina has updated the production lines completely.
