Is there anyway to couple a 65mm f/3.5 Elmar directly to an M's rangefinder? Has anyone ever heard of an adaptor to do that?

Well, it was meant to be a viso only lens but photographers are such creative people when it comes to adapting lenses to different cameras I thought I would ask.
I have read of one user that put the 65mm on an SLR. I just wondered if anyone had rigged up an M adaptor.
