Thanks!
I set the shots up on a tripod with a ball head and a bubble level in the cold/hot shoe. However they are almost never perfect and usually require 0.1º to 0.3º of horizon leveling in ACDSee Pro. I also use ACDSee Pro to do all of my editing and resizing.

Re: divewizard
I had a same technique with Fuji like yours.
But with small viewfinder and my eyeglases - shooting " Up " or " Down" - to keep that damn level straight - ain't easy![]()
Cheers
I had a much harder time until I bought a good tripod and ball head.
This is my Fuji GSW690II with a Henjar D-004 Arca Plate on a Induro AT313 tripod with a Really Right Stuff BH55 Ball Head and Arca Mount

Matt,
What kind of camera did you use? Did you use a flash?

That's some weird distortion though (if it is). Why is everything else straight and the roof is slumped like that? May be it really is like that?

Tie joist failure...mid house rafters dropping at the peak, pushing out on the walls. Doesn't happen where the end walls keep the rafters in place.

I agree. It's a sagging roof, not a distorted lens.

I use a Mamiya Super 23. No I did not use flash. It was "golden hour" light.

Great photo by Mattgatephoto! I just read "Jack London, Photographer" - that photo looks like it came straight out of the book from the 1920's.

Re:
sorry guys
It is not about a roof

PCStudio, he's using the 100mm, not the 65mm (in your flickr link). It is about a roof.
