I set the shots up on a tripod with a ball head and a bubble level in the cold/hot shoe. However they are almost never perfect and usually require 0.1º to 0.3º of horizon leveling in ACDSee Pro. I also use ACDSee Pro to do all of my editing and resizing.

I had a same technique with Fuji like yours.
But with small viewfinder and my eyeglases - shooting " Up " or " Down" - to keep that damn level straight - ain't easy 🙂

I had a much harder time until I bought a good tripod and ball head.

That's some weird distortion though (if it is). Why is everything else straight and the roof is slumped like that? May be it really is like that?

Tie joist failure...mid house rafters dropping at the peak, pushing out on the walls. Doesn't happen where the end walls keep the rafters in place.

I agree. It's a sagging roof, not a distorted lens.

I use a Mamiya Super 23. No I did not use flash. It was "golden hour" light.
