I call it the GI Joe camera
Hi folks, I just wanted to post up some scans of some photos I took with my new-to-me Fuji GW690. I'd never used a rangefinder OR shot 120 before this; it's been probably 15 years or more since I shot black & white - not to mention at least 3-4 yrs since I shot ANY film at all.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any critique y'all might have on how I could improve my photos. I'm a fan of "fill the frame", so that's basically my compositional technique - a holdover from my photojournalism days I guess.
These are done with the GW690 and Ilford HP5+ film; most of the exposures are done at relatively low apertures to limit depth of field, but I don't recall what exactly I used for each image.

There's also this one that I'm linking to rather than posting, as it's a really giant file & I didn't want to destroy anybody's bandwidth. It's probably my favorite of the bunch, which is why I left it large 🙂
Thanks for your time!

Thanks. No filter - yet. I'm thinking about trying out an orange filter, I've read a bit where that helps increase contrast a bit.All lovely shots Wes! lucky me I had some extra bandwidth to enjoy the Dukati picture at full resolution.! Keep them coming!
Btw looking at the tones of the grass, did you use some filter?
