6x9 photos Only

Mashing my way through some old negatives. Here's something I shot when I was 11, in 1960, using a 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 FR Reporter
press camera, a hand-me-down from my brother, who was also a photographer, but always 5 years ahead of me. My friend Smitty,
who had a reputation for being sleepy, mugging for the camera:

And another from the same time, shot with a little Speed Graphic on roll film: kids blowing bubbles in front of the dime store:

Because my brother was working in a camera store (where I eventually worked, too) there was a constant flow of exotic equipment
around me, and I got a pretty early start. As I'm working through those early negs, I'm surprised by the variety of cameras I
was shooting with as a 5th grader.

I just bought a little Century Graphic--my second (the first for shooting weddings in the 70s), so there will be more coming along,
now, but maybe in 6x7, since I'm hanging an RB67 back on it.

My first 6x9 photo I ever took. Ttaken today with Medalist I. TX400, Yellow Filter, f8 1/200. 8min ID11 full strength. Scanned at 1200dpi Epson v500.

if you click the thumbnail it will show a bigger picture. They have the RFF software set to severely limits the size of the file I can share. Sorry.
