Many of us here have 70mm JOBOs and Kindermanns and Nikors, if you are patient they come around.

I like the Kindermann a lot although it takes a lot of chemistry. More than half a gallon so almost better with deep tank type developers. I've a gallon of stock Acufine and Replenisher that fits my bill 🙂 And Legacy Mic-X replenished I bought a bunch of xray 70mm reels for no-money and use plastic buckets from Lowes to dip and dunk for no money. Or cut 70mm short ends of 220 length and run them on a modded to 70mm 220 JOBO reel. Great for clip tests


There is no (bulk film cost) advantage over 120 HP5 at the full Ilford list price. This stuff is 25% off that roughly.

The major advantage is minimal reloading and massive firepower. I don't bother to look at the counter when I am absorbed while shooting. No running out of film during the decisive moment!
