Since I am new to M8, I have tried most of my lenses on it. The 90cron(latest pre-asph) is absolutely stunning from all aspect. I have never owned or tried 75 lux but have only heard good things about it (besides the size/weight problem).
For those of you who have used both on m8, which lens did you end up with? and May I ask why?
Thanks.

I use the last pre-ASPH 90 on my film bodies, and sold my 90 ASPH after I saw the first results. I've heard it described as the poor man's 75/1.4 so I'll be interested to see the comments too.

I own both the 75 'lux. And the 90 'cron pre-asph. I find myself using the 90 cron more often on my M8. Back in my film days I used the 75 a lot. On the M8 it seems to be an awkward focal length.
75mm Summilux @ f2
90mm Summicron @ f2
Focal point is the edge of the mirror.
Shot on tripod at 8ft away in DNG and unedited. Both exposures are 1/6, f2 ISO 320. Shot in DNG, Same white balance for both. But there is a obvious color difference between the lenses.

I wish I still owned the Lux!

I had a very nice 75 lux that I really enjoyed shooting wide open. I did have some difficulty focusing it stopped down, don't ask me why. I would like to get another someday.
