Sorry guys for not posting, I've been retouching portraits most of the day, pregnant women can be picky. As Memphis said, I bought his Summarit, and I'm pretty thrilled about it. I think it will be more along the lines of what I have been looking for, I suppose just that old-time roundy, dirty, gritty Leica look that's not perfect, that's not critically sharp with super high micro-contrast. Don't get me wrong, the Planar looks great, but I just wasn't too keen on rushing over to B&H and buying a new one, money really had nothing to do with it. The lens just looks a little too, transparent, I guess is the word to be my only 50mm at the moment. I'm sure other's will say that they would hate to have a Summarit no matter how nice as their only 50mm. I'm sure I'll buy a Planar, or a Hexanon, or a Summicron, maybe all of them a little later, but I just wanted something a little unique for this particular job and that's really what my client is after as well.
