I found a Konica Auto-S in excellent cosmetic condition but with a sticky shutter. I cleaned it and then i sold it on *bay for £40.

Of course now i regret i did. What is your story? What did you sell and then you wish you hadn't?

I WILL regret pretty soon, selling my
- M2 with 50DR
- Hexar RF
- Hexar AF
- Rolleiflex 3,5f
- Hasselblad 500cm
- Hasselblad 500 ELX
- Mamiya 6
- Canonet G-III 1,7
- Minox 35 GL (well, don't know if I will regrett this)

Will keep M6 Classic with 50 and 35 mm -

life has to become simple again, but SURE I will regret it - my heart is torn allready!

I bought a brand new Nikon F6 3 years ago when B&H's price was $2000 and returned it within a week. When I wanted to buy one about a year ago, I had to pay $2500 for a new one. I regret returning that original one!

Have some gear I sold to an acquaintance many years ago. When I realized my mistake, it took almost 10yrs of wait for him to sell them back. Learnt from then never to sell out of guilt (having several) or boredom (non use).

I still do let go of stuff occasionally, but only when I'm certain that I did not really enjoy them or have no sentimental attachments to.

My two biggest are probably:
- Two Contax N Digitals.
- Ricoh GR21.

I really miss those NDs, bad decision on my part.

Back in the early 1990's I picked up a nearly mint SS M3 with 50mm Summilux for an absolute pittance. The camera shop I bought it from was going out of business and the owner needed cash. I couldn't resist profit-taking so sold the camera for about twice I paid for it. Wish I kept it now, especially the Summilux.

I have this rule of not spending 'new money' on camera gear: I have more than I can use practically anyway. So of course I had to try shooting a Hasselblad, and decided that I could go without my Rolleiflex T. I had second thoughts right when putting it up for sale, but I made a little profit and it wasn't too bad.... or so I thought. I did not like the blad all that much afterall, and would've loved having the Rollei back. Now I have already spent two months looking for a replacement, without much luck 🙁

I regretted selling my Canon LTM 28/2.8. But that was a calculated risk: I broke even selling it, and now have a cheaper one that's even nicer 🙂 Enough of them going around, of nice Rolleiflexes not so much sadly....

Other than that... no. My current M6 is much nicer than my old one, my current M2 also, lenses are all also better than before.

Not sure there is any camera I regret selling. The one I regret not having today is the Minox ML but I tossed it after the 2nd time the shutter gave out and decided it was time to admit what others were saying, the shutters were failure prone.

I could regret selling my Olympus Pen F systems and Exacta systems but there were traded for my Bronica system and a Minox LX both which I used and enjoyed more. The LX wa finally sold off but I still have a C so do not miss the LX.

I did not sell all that much cameras yet, but I do miss the Rolleiflex T. I knew I will miss it, but I really wanted to get the Mamiya 6 which I like a lot for travel. But for BW portraits I would pick the "T" over the M6 anytime. But I just do so few of them ...

But at least it god a good home somewhere on Hawaii. I hope it is doing well.

... isn't it cute ...

Yes! I sold my Rolleiflex to a RFF member because I was not using it. He posted terrific photographs shot with the camera. A few weeks later I bought a another Rolleiflex on eBay and am waiting for it to arrive. I guess I can't live without the Rolleiflex!

As I need the funds, I plan to sell my Fuji 6x9cm cameras as well as my M8 and some Zeiss and Weltur folding cameras. I hope I am not crazy!

An M6 is a direct replacement of the other 35mm stuff, but you might want to keep the MF stuff for a while longer.

Black M6 0.85
It was as new and couldnt bring my self to use it as it was in such pristine condition
If that makes any sense LOL
