A case for my canon A-1.

Sorry If I bring up a dummy question in here.
I have taken my Canon A-1 out of its box and put on its 50mm 1.4 lens. The problem now is that I had its original case out of a box, and its surface has cracked and started to peel off.
I have searched almost everywhere about a case for it, and almost every one I have seen is expensive and in worse state than mine.
Could somebody recommend me a case about it? I do not like those with millions of features, 100% water proof, shock proof, etc. I am looking for a simple one that will just take good care of my fav camera.

It is years since I last saw an intact case for the A1. The worst thing with mine was the little flakes of degraded surface that got everywhere. I threw it away. I have not found a replacement and instead use a small Crumpler shoulder bag just large enough for the A1, 24mm, 50mm, 135mm and a few films.

That's what I thought doing. Instead of buying another flaky one I would get some durable one that will not have to throw it away after a while. Crumpler bags look nice. I thing I will go for one of these.

I use a hip belt style camera bag for my A-1 and an extra lens or two and other small items while shooting.
