In the course of assembling my present kit of cameras, lenses, and accessory shoe mounted optical viewfinders, I've been daunted by the simple question, "How do I carry these viewfinders in a tidy and protective manner such that they don't just end up in a jumble of little bags and boxes in my bag?"

I have six of them ... Voigtlander 21/25 Brightline, Ricoh 28 and Voigtlander 28 Brightline (different aspect ratios), Voigtlander 35 Brightline, Leica 50 Brightline, and Voigtlander 75 Brightline. They're all about the same size.

Just as I was about to start designing a slim box, I happened to see in the Moleskine USA catalog a small case designed for their reading glasses:

Moleskine Pen/Reading Glass Case

The dimensions looked about right and it was only $13 ... I decided to give it a try.

It is exactly the right size! All six finders fit side by side in this little hard-sided case with a velour interior, with just enough space to make a set of protective dividers to go between them. The whole thing is compact, nicely finished, has the typical Moleskine elastic closure strap. It fits in a corner of a small bag.

Should be useful for anyone who carries multiple lenses and matching optical finders for Ricoh GXR-M, Leica, etc.
