I'm lucky enough to live within a short drive of Cape Cod and historic Plymouth, Massachusetts. I recently went walking in each place with my FED-2 and came back with some decent results. I'm still trying to figure out the VF framing (no framelines to guide me :confused: ) but I'm getting better at judging the exposures. I've enclosed a few sample images below, some taken with the Industar-26m and some with the Jupiter-8. See if you can figure out which image came from which lens. The J8 is nice but the under-rated I-26m is a heck of a performer, colors really pop and it's decently fast for available light use.

The diminutive FED-2 continues to impress me and I enjoy the camera more every time I use it. Oh, and I discovered that you can pull up the rewind knob to make it easier to rewind your film. It only took me four rolls to figure that out! :eek:

Edit: spelling

Bench = I-26M, approx f/11 @ 1/250
Headstone = J8, approx f/4 @ 1/100
Roses = J8, f/2 @ 1/25 (the yellow cast was caused by several antique lamps glowing nearby)
Cat = I-26M, f/2.8 @ 1/25

Available light and Kodak Gold 200 for all exposures.

I really like both of these lenses and I'm going to try them out on my Bessa R next. I thought the headstone shot was acceptably sharp for the J8 at wide aperture (on the print you can easily read the inscription). The J8 has a good reputation but IMO the I-26M is not too far behind and it may even be sharper when stopped down.
