A few from my Canonet...

Hi folks,

It's been a while since I've been on the forum, but I haven't given up shooting with my Canonet GIII QL17. I still love this little camera!! Lately, I've been pretty favorable to Kodachrome 100 slide. I really like the results I get from it. Right now I've got some Sensia in the Canonet and can't wait to see how that comes out.

I'm still waiting for my daughter to use her Canonet 28 that Phil gave me. She's had it for quite a few months and hasn't shown me anything yet. If this keeps up I'm gonna steal it from her and use it myself, hehe.

Anyhow, just thought I'd check in and share a couple of recent photos with you all. Just got a roll back last week, and these were shot at Riley's Farm in Glen Oak, Ca. They put on some great presentations of what it was like to live in 18th-19th century colonial America. Enjoy!

Thanks Sirius. I forgot to mention that I believe the first two were shot at around f/4 and the apples at f/5.6. Can't remember the shutter speed. I have a bad habit of forgetting to write down my settings. I guess that comes from shooting digital too much, lol.

Nice chromes Ray. I have just bought a GIII QL17 on Ebay. It is in dry dock having a sticky shutter fixed, but looking at your results, I cant wait to get it back now.

Well John, I can't wait for you to start posting pics with your Canonet! What a great little camera, eh?

By the way, Fuji Provia 400 works great with the Canonet too. And tomorrow I pick up my Sensia 100 slides so I'm real anxious as to how those turned out.

Thanks for sharing, those are nics pics but I especially like the applies. I took my Canonet to France last year because the Bessa L hadn't arrived yet, and got some nice shots. It is small, sharp lens, and the "quick load" system really is easy and quick. Post some more from your roll of Sensia if you get a chance. Thanks.
