A few M6 type realizations for the day

Greetings. Previously, the only M I have ever used was an M6. I tried a friends M8 today and I have to say the viewfinder focusing absolutely trashed my M6. I will be sending my M6 in for an upgrade ASAP. The second realization is that I am a tab focusing person. I realized this after trying her two summarits and a 28 elmarit. It's a pity because I will have to do something with my 35 biogon yet I love the image quality of it.

Will the M6 with upgraded VF look as good as the M8's focusing patch?

Why isn't my 1980s Mercedes as sweet smelling as my friend's new 2008 S-500 Mercedes?

Friend: The M8 is two or three generations removed from your M6. On tabs - I like them as well but would not base my purchases on them.
